“Iris” is a 3.5yr old, 14.3hh, Tennessee Walker, mare. Who doesn’t love some beautiful white eye lashes on a sweet young mare? Iris is a total in your pocket type of horse, who craves to be spoiled and loved on. She is a very mature young horse, chromed up just right, with a whole life ahead of her! Iris is not marish at all, and over all a total doll. In the barn Iris has zero bad habits, she lays down for a daily nap and never asks for anything. She can live in, or out, and goes out with a mixed herd with zero drama. She stands well on the cross ties to be groomed, bathed, braided, tacked, etc. She is barefoot with no maintenance and an easy keeper. She is good for the vet and farrier. She loads and trailers well. On the trails, Iris will lead and follow, she will go out alone and in groups. She is safe with dogs, traffic, bikes, etc. She is extremely curios and brave for her age and loves to explore and learn. She crosses bridges, water, logs, rocks, you name it. She is the perfect combo of whoa and go. Iris will ride slow and easy with QHs, and can move out with other gaited horses. She has very smooth gaits and makes for a fun ride. Iris is the same horse every time even if she sits for a month. It is hard to find a horse her age, with her brain. She is not spooky. Iris will ride around in the ring and does what she is asked. She is quiet and easy, and willing to learn new things. She has a great gait, and she is learning to canter. I haven’t tried jumping her yet due to her age and breed, but she would absolutely go for it. Iris has got it all going for her, a beautiful color, fantastic brain, sweet personality.
