“Boots” is a 17hh, 16yr old, Belgian/Haflinger cross gelding. This handsome gentleman is such a fun trail partner!!! He is safe, silly, and loves adventures!! Are you looking for a trail partner who can also dabble in the ring? 

Boots is a kind soul, and has no bad habits. He stands on the cross ties to be groomed, tacked, bathed, etc. He is patient and gentle to work around. He likes attention and has a goofy, sweet personality! 

On the trails, he will lead, follow, go alone and in groups. He is safe with traffic, machinery, dogs, bikes, and he is not spooky. Boots is point and go, up hill, down hill, through the water, down the roads, he is a trail machine!!! This boy will bushwhack through the woods and not blink an eye, he is very careful with his footing and takes really good care of his rider. He would make the perfect husband horse! Boots is the perfect combo of whoa and go, he will go slow and easy with slow horses or move out when riding with faster horses. His gaits are extremely smooth and comfy. 

Boots will walk, trot, canter in the ring, he is green but very willing and does what you ask! His gaits feel like riding on a cloud, he is very smooth. He has a good whoa button as well! He will even push a cow around!! Boots is also broke to drive. 

Boots can live in or out, he is an easy keeper and requires no maintenance. He is gentle with other horses in the pasture. He is barefoot and good for the farrier. He has no bad stall habits. Loading and trailering is a piece of cake, and he fits in my regular two horse trailer easily. Boots would make a great addition to any family, whether you want to enjoy the trails, or play around in the ring, he doesn’t mind either way. This boy is full of life and a happy horse!
