“Our Raining Beauty” aka “Raine” is a 10yr old, 16hh, registered Appaloosa mare who is the ultimate all around horse. She is not marish, Raine is very sweet, in your pocket, gentle and safe for anyone. She is the definition of versatile, and can do it all, while looking good, doing it. This is the type of horse that you can throw your husband or kids on for a leisure trail ride, then take to a competitive show the next day. This is a very special mare, one that is hard to let go of, and one that is going to make her forever owner extremely happy. From her unique looks, to her best friend vibes and quiet mind, you don’t find a horse like Raine often, and here is your chance to make her, your dream come true.  In the barn, Raine has no vices or bad habits. She is quiet in her stall, and can live in or out. She gets along with a mixed herd, and she will always walk up to you in the pasture. Raine stands quietly on the cross ties to be groomed, bathed, tacked, etc, and loves receiving attention. She is super gentle to work around, and safe for kids and beginners to lead, groom, work around, etc. Raine has excellent ground manners and she is over all a total doll to have around. She is an easy keeper, with a simple diet, no maintenance, barefoot, and great for the farrier and vet. Raine is up to date on coggins, worming, shots, farrier and dental. No health or soundness issues. She loads and trailers perfectly, and ties to the side of the trailer patiently. Raine is a very sweet girl, who is very wise and loves her people. She wants to be your best friend. On the trails, Raine will lead, follow, go out alone and in groups. She is safe for absolutely anyone to trail ride, and she takes very good care of her rider. Raine crosses scary bridges, water, logs, rocks, safe with traffic, atvs, wildlife, and she is not spooky. She will willingly take the lead through thick and thin, and rides on a loose rein the whole ride. She will tote around kids and beginners and happily follow the group. Raine will jog and lope out on the trails then drop right back down to a quiet walk. She doesn’t bat an eye at anything, and goes anywhere that you ask. She doesn’t mind dogs trailing beside her, doesn’t get upset with horses up her rear end, and she is always just happy to be involved. Raine stands patiently on the trails, and high lines as well. She has all of the qualities of a great camping partner, fox hunter, husband/kid horse, guest horse and more.  Raine rides western, english, and bareback. She is the perfect combo of whoa and go, happy to go nice and slow, yet you don’t need a crop/spurs to ask her to go to work. She is the type of horse that knows what type of rider is on her, and will dull herself way down for a beginner or kid, yet is intelligent, loves to learn, and please a more advanced rider! She is soft in your hands and rides in a snaffle. You can even ride her in a neck rope! Raine has uphill, comfortable gaits and a rocking horse lope. She is an absolutely beautiful mover and gets super fancy when she’s put to work! What I love about this girl is that I can throw a kid on her, then hop on her the next day and play around with dressage etc. Raine has an unbeatable brain. Whether you are looking for a show horse, a trail horse, or even a mare to breed, and pass down her wonderful qualities, Raine has a little bit of something, for everyone. I adore every single thing about this sweet mare.  In the ring, Raine will walk, jog, trot, lope, canter, and has been introduced to fences. She is honest, and the same horse every ride, whether she sits for weeks or is ridden daily. She didn’t know what collection was when I got her, but she is a very quick learner and I have been focusing on staying soft, and correct. She will ride on the buckle, and is learning to stay collected. It does not take long to teach this girl anything. Raine will move off of leg nicely, she neck reins, has a great whoa, backs up, pivots, and is learning about lateral movement. This girl is a beautiful mover, especially when she rounds out and pushes from behind, she flicks her toes. She has all of the potential to dabble in both western and classical dressage, as well as ranch classes, working equitation and more. I have recently introduced Raine to jumping and she took right to it! She is honest and quiet to fences, and while still learning, has shown great potential! Raine has the versatility to head into any direction, or be your next all around horse and do it all!!  Raine is the same horse off of property, quiet, and laid back. She has been shown in multiple disciplines, such has halter, english and western. I took Raine to a cow sorting for fun, she absolutely loved it, and did a great job! She was totally unfazed by the crowd, cows, music, lights, and was happy to push the cattle around. She has placed in halter classes as well. No prep needed when trailering off of property for shows or trail rides.  If you are looking for safe, kind, honest, and versatile, while still having beautiful movement, here is your girl. Raine has been a gem to have around, and it’s going to be hard to see her go. She has been nothing but easy, and fun. The opportunities are limitless with a horse like Raine!
